The Battle of Wylo Moor. The Albion army went face to face with the Telrae'dor's Calvary. The Dyrlings wanted to assimilate the more genial Frem and expand their nation's borders. The Telrae'dor's proposal included the banning of the tartan and the prohibition of clan land under separate Lairds. The victory fell to the Frem, though it was a narrow one at that.

Widespread potato famine caused the unusually sober legions of Rusavik to resort to rustling Jurchen cattle from the Ulikh Steppes. Although no official declaration of hostile intent was ever signed between either city-state, the situation forced General Shen Xinyue to divert several armies from his horde. Attempts to keep lasting control of the stolen herds were largely unsuccessful for both sides, with other city-states mockingly dubbing the conflict the "Yak Wars." The fast-paced skirmishes would continue until both city-states came to an agreement, several hundred heads of cattle/barrels of airag in exchange for a cut of next year's potato yield.

Year 1095
In an attempt to deal with a group of local bandits smuggling their goods by river, a patrol of Khonzhou archers sat waiting in ambush along the bank of the delta. It was only until the last arrow was fired and the vessel searched that it was revealed to be a Fenrii Ducal family. Suffering one of the most shameful diplomatic incidents in the city-state's recent history, the Warlord ordered every member of the patrol's execution in and effort to make amends with Fendahl. Denied the right to die by their own sword, the condemned soldiers were stripped and hung like common criminals.

Year 1075
Hill at the top of Cyning Fjord (lies between Jarnfell and Valgard) was a equally sore point to both sides. The ownership often changing depending on who you ask. It is site of the Holy Tree, Yggdrasil for the Alfarians and Irminsul for the Bretons and fanatics on both sides use it as a point of contention.
After much abuse to the chosen Dyrling diplomat, the Bretons prematurely trick the Telrae'dor out of their position.
Year 1068
The fifteen year war ends when Arjat enters the fray on the side of the north, forcing everyone to table to negotiate peace.
Year 1062
Citing ancestral birthrights and apparent inability to defeat their enemy, a charismatic rival to the Khonzhou Warlord and self proclaimed claimant to the throne appeals to the Steppe tribes to amass an independent horde set on reconquering old territory. Khonzhou and Halberg unite to combat the Hunnic uprising that threatens east Essealas, the second attempt to re-establish an eastern empire in the last 200 years. Rusavik surprisingly agrees to assist as the war draws further north, all too eager to kill Jurchen. Unprepared to face the collective force of three city-states at once, the upstart Warlord and his horde are swiftly defeated, their family and banner destroyed.
Year 1061
Failed Political Marriage between Valgard and Jarnfell, The King of Valgard was to marry King Ecgfirth of Jarnfell's daughter, Banu. However upon the Valgardian ruler learning of certain behaviors by his intended (think Elizabeth Bathory), he rejected the match and took for his bride an Alfarian woman. This launched one of the worst bloodletting in Essealas History and with no decisive victor.
Jarnfell suffered a low yield of ore, with most going to the very Alfarian's they were fighting. As a result they turned to the Dyrlings for assistance, being the closest neighbor, next to the genial Frem. King Ecgfirth bit his tongue and worked out an agreement, a diplomat to sit on the Breton's small council for no less than a sixteen year timespan and in exchange they were provided the necessary finances in order to wage their war.
Year 1059
During a bad crop year, the rye crop contracted ergot. Due to the needed delivery of iron ore, the grain merchants delivered bad grain to Jarnfell rather then fail to keep up their end of the grain delivery. Ergot caused wide spread issues in both Jarnfell and Valgard as ergot causes both hallucinogens and miscarriages. After a lot of shouting and threats, cooler heads prevailed and a revised treaty allowed for a larger supply of grain to Jarnfell with the understanding they would stock pile grain against normal yearly shortages. No matter what the reason, the grain-ore treaty is one of the few ways in which Jarnfell and Valgard remain allied.

Year 1031
After 6 years of attritional mountain warfare between Khonzhou and Rusavik, a cessation of hostilities was finally signed following a duel between rival Warlords. The duel, which took several hours to resolve, ended in a stalemate which mirrored the nature of the conflict. The fiercest fighting occurred during the first two years, with the next four being almost exclusively conducted at range. The average soldier was just as likely to die of the cold and malnourishment as much as an enemy arrow.
Year 1025
A legion marching from Rusavik destroys the recently established monastery of the Five Paths, attacking any monks who refused to flee. Rusavik claims the monastery was constructed within their lands and therefore an insult to their own gods. This would be the straw that broke the camel's back, the Jurchen Empress in Khonzhou officially declaring open
Year 1022
Aggressive expansion by the Rus in the Khongrol mountains as well as Jurchen settling further west had resulted in a number of territorial conflicts. Although mostly among peasants at first, armed patrols would eventually be dispatched from both Rusavik and Khonzhou, leading to a number of armed skirmishes over the next several years.
